After more than 100 years of development, plastic extruders have evolved from single screw to various models such as twin screw, multi screw, and even non screw. The plastic extruder (host) can be matched with various plastic molding auxiliary machines such as pipes, films, holding materials, single filaments, flat filaments, packaging belts, extrusion nets, plates (sheets), profiles, granulation, cable wrapping, etc. to form various plastic extrusion molding production lines and produce various plastic products. Therefore, plastic extrusion molding machinery is one of the widely used models in the plastic processing industry, both now and in the future.

Maintenance method for plastic extruder:

1. The plastic extruder machine equipment should be placed in a ventilated position to ensure the heat dissipation of the motor during operation and extend its lifespan; The machine should be well grounded.

2. Regularly check the screws of the cutting tools. After using the brand new machine for 1 hour, use tools to tighten the screws of the moving and fixed blades, and strengthen the fixation between the blades and the tool holder; Lubricating oil should be regularly added to the bearings to ensure lubrication between them; To ensure the sharpness of the cutting edge of the tool, it is necessary to regularly check the tool to ensure its sharpness and reduce unnecessary damage to other components caused by blunt edges; Regularly check if the belt is loose and tighten it in a timely manner.

3. Restart - Before the second startup, the remaining debris in the machine room should be cleared to reduce startup resistance. The inertia cover and pulley cover should be regularly opened, and the ash outlet under the flange should be cleared, as the powder discharged from the crusher room enters the shaft bearing

4. Replacement of parts - When replacing the cutting tool, the gap between the moving and fixed blades is better for crushers above 20HP and crushers below 20HP. The thinner the recycled material, the larger the gap can be.
